Ole A. Paulson, 74, 3307 Ninth Ave. Counsil Bluffs, died wednesday at a Council Bluffs hospital following an extended illness.
He was born at Yankton, SD and had resided many years in Council Bluffs. He retired as a machinist from the Union Pacific Railroad in 1960 after 17 years of service. Prior to that he was employed at Griffin Wheel Company.
Paulson and his wife Amy, observed their 57th anniversary May 10, 1977.
Survivors beside his wife include a son, Alfred E, and a daughter, Mrs. Roseann Osborn, both of Counsil Bluffs; two sisters, Mrs. Thekla Mutchler of Sturgis SD and Mrs. Viola Reagan of Hartshorne, Oklahoma., five grandchildren and one great grandson.
Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. Friday at the Meyer Chapel. Interment will be held at Walnut Hill Cemetery.
